Lotus Orphan Center
Lotus orphan centre is designed for young orphaned children to provide them with a better lifestyle and an overall healthy environment. The centre aims to deliver finer living conditions to orphaned children than other orphanages to prevent them from being institutionalised.
Orphans are normally neglected and not cared for and that results in losing their sense of belonging and the orphan centre aims to break that cycle of neglect towards orphans and to generally prepare them to be in the society and to fit in when they grow up in order to have a chance of having a bright future just like all
other individuals.
Xia Community Hub
Xia community hub is a hub that promotes healthy living for anorexic individuals. The objective is to pay more attention to those who are anorexic and to promote a healthy lifestyle through the community.
As well as to try to help the targeted audience and facilitate for them by providing them with a safe space where they can relate to others who are facing the same issues in order to overcome them.
The hub provides a different type of approach than the normal recovery process that is followed and that approach depends heavily on creative ways to help anorexic people get better. The activities that are provided in Xia hub are Gardening therapy, Art therapy, Meditation, Cooking therapy and group discussion. These activities target creating a bridge from isolation and distorted thinking and aims to change the negative thoughts that an anorexic individual can have. The hub also promotes socialising and provides spaces for the community members to socialise and relate to one another.
