As some further studies from the article “Creating Data-Rich Workplaces to Detect and Curb Viral Transmission”, a few design issues are being discussed in the article. The main issue found is that health, wellness and hygiene have become the first focus than anything in society these days.
According to the issue stated above, it came to lead with the main objective mentioned in the article, which is to create BETTER HEALTH space to serve the people better in life while fighting through this pandemic.
Life’s On - An emergency transit hub where it serves as a purpose of medical support. Life’s On is also a proposed project which will be taken charge by the Pantai Hospital. This emergency transit hub allows ambulances to stop by to carry out immediate medical services for patients.
The main objectives of this project are to achieve better health in the community, to help reduce the front-liners workload and also to increase the efficiency of the whole emergency process to be taken, especially in helping the ambulance transferring the patient process.
Life’s On with the design concept of HOPE incorporated together. This brings out the meaning that humans carry on their lives every day, no matter how bad it goes, there is still hope in life which we should never give up on, because there are people taking effort to keep our life “ON”.

Experience & Awareness Centre
For more than a century, burning fossil fuels has generated most of the energy required to propel our cars, power our businesses, and keep the lights on in our homes. Even today, oil, coal, and gas provide for about 80% of our energy needs. Coal, crude oil, and natural gas are all considered fossil fuels because they were formed from the fossilized, buried remains of plants and animals that lived millions of years ago. In this centre,
The design issues found in this topic is that the over-high consumption of fossil fuels energy in our daily life which it turned into a kind of energy rely. Therefore, the knowledge and awareness on this matter are averagely low in the community. With that, this project aims to educate the public and create awareness on this matter.
This space is designed as a game challenge space where it allows visitors to make choices, experience in their five senses with a given storyline.
At the first stage, visitors will experience the village simulation of the fossil fuel victims through polluted air smell, dusty environment and noisy construction sound.
Moving on the second stage, the visitors are led to understand how fossil fuels work by hands-on machinery interaction and its statistics outcome. In between the challenge, visitors will be asked to make choices and it will impact their next room experience.
After all, it will finally lead the visitors to a green garden where it aims to educate the visitors that with everyone’s small action to change, the world could be better and environment friendly for all. Along with the space, it creates an environment balanced space by showing air quality, statistics and reading to prove the whole walk-through experience and challenge outcome.
