Textile production is the second largest water polluter in the world, not only that, but the synthetic dye also has harmful properties which will cause various health problems. So, plant-based material being used as an eco-friendly alternative can eliminate the use of harmful dyes.
This project will be a multipurpose space designed not only to raise awareness of the public about the issue of synthetic dye, but also to provide a space for fashion designers to make creations out of the natural dye.
The area included inside will be mainly focused on workshops, retail, and cafe. By using shapes and colours that reduce images to their most basic forms, the design retains the raw edges of the material and showcases its own beauty.
